If things are not going well with your baby

Important: If you think things are not going well with your baby, call for a nurse immediately.

Your hospital recommends always calling the hospital in the following cases: 

• Your baby has a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher.

• Your baby has a temperature of 96.8°F (36°C) or lower.

• Your baby is lethargic.

• Your baby is feeding poorly.
