What is Jauni?
You can see the Jauni kit in the photos above. Jauni is a device used for phototherapy. Phototherapy is the treatment for jaundice and works with blue light. Jauni consists of different components. Read on for an explanation of the different components.
The Dual Light Pad
The Dual Light Pad consists of two parts with a yellow cable between them. The two parts have a white and a blue side. The blue lights are on the white side. These lights provide phototherapy. Therefore, it's important that these lights shine on your baby's skin.
The Yellow Box
The Yellow Box can be connected to the Dual Light Pad with the yellow cable. This allows the Yellow Box to provide power to the Dual Light Pad, turning on the lights within it. The Yellow Box also keeps track of how long the lights have been on. You can temporarily turn off the blue lights on the screen of the Yellow Box.
The battery
With Jauni, you receive two batteries. The Yellow Box is powered by a battery, which also supplies power to the Dual Light Pad. When the battery is nearly empty, you can insert the second battery into the Yellow Box. You also receive a charger to recharge the batteries yourselves.
The romper
You receive two rompers. The Dual Light Pad fits into the rompers. After inserting the Dual Light Pad into the romper, you can dress your baby in it. This allows the blue light to shine on your baby's skin.
The Yellow Box bag
Sometimes you may want to walk with your baby, for example, from the crib to the changing table. You then take the Yellow Box with you. You can place the Yellow Box in the Yellow Box bag, which you can hang around your arm. This makes it easy to carry the Yellow Box.
The user manual Jauni also includes the user manual. The Quick Start Guide is at the front of the user manual. It explains the most important things quickly and with pictures.
