Additional tips for breastfeeding
For extra help with breastfeeding, you can consult the nurse or doctor. You can also contact a lactation consultant if needed.
A few general tips:
-
Breastfeed your baby often. 8 to 12 feedings in 24 hours is very normal in the first weeks.
-
Eat healthily and drink at least 16 cups per day.
-
Skin-to-skin contact with mother can also help with breastfeeding. This can be done while the romper is on and the blue light is on.
-
Having issues? Ask for advice from the nurse or doctor.
