Additional tips for breastfeeding

For extra help with breastfeeding, you can consult the nurse or doctor. You can also contact a lactation consultant if needed.

A few general tips:

  • Breastfeed your baby often. 8 to 12 feedings in 24 hours is very normal in the first weeks.

  • Eat healthily and drink at least 16 cups per day.

  • Skin-to-skin contact with mother can also help with breastfeeding. This can be done while the romper is on and the blue light is on.

  • Having issues? Ask for advice from the nurse or doctor.
